The relatively new, Tzatziki Grill, is the Chipotle of Greeks. Á la Chipotle, customers work their way down a line of meats (chicken, pork, lamb, beef), veggies, and toppings to add to their meal whether a pita wrap, bowl (essentially a wrap without the pita), or platter.

Platters leave less room for creativity than the two other options as meats/veggies come standard with rice, beans, pita, and a Greek salad. Various full-sized salads are also available. No matter the choice, few are able to finish a meal making for a great lunch tomorrow.

Wraps and bowls reign as the most popular option. Platter meat, particularly lamb and beef, can taste dry without the collection of toppings and sauce the others have that keep the meat moist. Some of the toppings include tzatziki sauce, diced cucumbers and tomatoes, hummus, eggplant spread, feta and other cheeses, and unique, subtle tasting baked beans that are definitely worth trying. The stuffed wraps and bowls ring up at less than $6--$5 with a DePaul I.D.

Tzatziki Grill is located just a short walk to the Conservatory: a free walk through the scents and sights of fresh plant life, which inevitably becomes non-existent outdoors in the bitter Chicago winter. The restaurant is also close to the Fullerton Beach where—on the upside of winter—there is a new, beautiful view of Lake Michigan. A final perk: Tzatziki is open late. Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
