1. "RE: GENERATION" screening, 2/16 and 2/23
This documentary, by award-winning filmmaker Amir Bar Lev, tells a unique and buzz worthy story. In this film, five of the world's biggest and most influential DJs/electronic music producers look at the history of music, songwriting and the studio process through genres far from their own. Grammy-winner Skrillex collaborates on a new song with members of the iconic '70s rock group The Doors, while Pretty Lights works with LeAnn Rimes and Dr. Ralph Stanley to breathe new life into the classic country ballad "Wayfaring Stranger." Already have plans tonight? Pencil in time for a screening next Thursday, Feb. 23.
