1. IAMDYNAMITE at House of Blues

The indie-rock two-piece from Raleigh will be performing in support of their new album Supermegafantastic (released Sept. 13 on Brando Records) with Blue October. 4. Oktoberfest at Navy Pier

This is cover-free? And it goes from 11am to 10pm (with a Sunday and Monday night exception)? Happy October, indeed. 5. The Naked and Famous at the Metro

6. First Fridays at the Flat Iron Fine Arts Building

This monthly art event showcases works of more than a hundred local artists and galleries all housed in one, three-story building at that delightfully chaotic Wicker Park North/Damen/Milwaukee intersection. 7. The Theatre School presents INTIMATE APPAREL at the Merle Reskin Theatre
