2. Collage and Comics at Kinzie Corridor Community Gallery, 1/6
This opening night event starts the Corridor's year of exhibitions in 2012. The show includes works from plenty of cool Chicago artists and will be serving up drinks, Kim & Scott's Pretzels and beer. 3. The Lawrence Arms at the Metro, 1/7

4. Exploring Yoga for the Artist at I Am Logan Square, 1/10
This art-, artist- and expression-based space brings exercise within its walls for the first time. 6. Dating for Nerds at 404 Wine Bar, 1/8
