Big Stuff is an easy 4-7 minute bus ride from Lincoln Park campus; a small ride to one fat meal. Like many of the other new restaurants popping up around the area, they've picked up on the significance of late-night hours, staying open (with delivery) until 2:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday, and 3:30 a.m. on Saturdays serving hot and cold sandwiches, salads, pizza, and some "Little Stuff."

And no, the name doesn't lie.

The meals are big. Their smallest option is about equivalent to that of a large at any other restaurant.

The catch: paying more for more food—go figure, eh?

"Big" sandwiches are about $6 while the "Bigger" option is around $9. Luckily, there's a simple solution. Nearly everyday Big Stuff offers a $4 for $8 "Groupon Now!" deal which essentially comes out to a half-priced meal.

Now that it's affordable, here are a few of their most popular menu items:

The Minkus: roasted Portobello mushroom, pepper jack cheese, arugula, roasted red peppers, basil mayo on ciabatta

Josh's Caprese: (tried and true) fresh mozzarella, tomato, fresh basil, sun-dried tomato mayo on ciabatta – hot or cold

The Judge: three homemade meatballs with marinara, mozzarella, and parmesan on a sub roll

Big Stuff's extreme pizza slices are what initially draw in most customers, but are not better than the sandwich options. A "Big Slice" of cheese costs $4.50 or $7.50 for "Bigger Slice." Sausage and pepperoni are $5/$8.

Other alternatives include a variety of salads, and some "Little Stuff": grilled cheese, peanut butter & jelly, cheese pizza, mac & cheese, penne pasta—all $4.95.

Expect leftovers.
