Electronica edition: Vodge Diper

Hello 2012, and welcome back to school! It kind of sucks going back to classes, but music makes everything better.

This week's producer is a special little treat from me. Vodge Diper is not a known face in the electronic scene, but he will really make it up there. His name reminds you of a Dodge Viper, and I have to say his songs express that too.

The Las Vegas producer has been influenced by big names, like Deadmau5 and Cold Blank. My favorite song from him, "Turn up the Bass" is a combination of melodic electro, and a wanging dubstep drop.

The track really is electro/house, but the dubstep sample really makes it. After the phrase "Turn up your bass!", the track starts going wild and getting any listener tapping to the beat. This track is one of my favorite electronic pieces, and I really hope to see more great work from Vodge Diper.
