Electronica edition: Swedish House Mafia

Dubstep and all this wobble music has been taking everyone over. However, electronic music started with house and electro. The steady beat and the catchy electro sounds make it the music of preference for me and many other fans. This week's track selection, a song by Swedish House Mafia, was inspired by the upcoming concerts in Chicago. I recently learned about Steve Angello's upcoming concert at Congress Theater, Nov. 26. But he is not the only member of the Mafia coming to Chicago. Axwell will be performing at VLive on Wednesday, Nov. 23. These two make up the threesome Swedish House Mafia, along with producer/DJ, Sebastian Ingrosso.

Their hit song, "One", was released at Ultra Music Fest with a huge bang! Nonetheless, they are all great producers by themselves. When they are combined though, they create music to really get the crowd moving. Their song that has been stuck in my head the past days is "Save The World." It combines elements from each producer to create a great, cohesive hit single after "One." The official video is also amazing, so make sure to check that out. Finals are done next week, so let some heat out by going to one of the above concerts. I will see you all there!
