Breakfast never tasted so good

I'm hesitant to write this week's restaurant recommendation on Sark's in the Park as I'd like to keep this one all for myself. But I suppose in the name of DePaul's Vincentian code and supporting local business I will let those of you who haven't already found it for yourself in on this delicious secret.

At the corner of Clark and Fullerton, just steps below street level, you'll find Sark's in the Park. The original Sarkis Café in Evanston inspired this new Lincoln Park location.

Like the first, they're known primarily for their breakfast menu, full of all your morning favorites: French toast, pancakes, and hearty omelets.

However, you must order the Loretta. It's their signature meal and for good reason. Each Loretta is a canvas of French bread piled with meat, cheese, mayo, veggies, and eggs as you choose (you have to ask for the egg, but it's a necessary component). For six bucks you won't be eating again ‘til dinnertime. And for those perhaps not feeling, ahem, "up to par" before three—no worries—online ordering and delivery will keep you comfy at home.
