Barbeque is the taste of the week. As the cold weather forces its way back into our lives, there's a cozy restaurant nestled in Logan Square waiting with a menu full of warm, hearty foods to feed those winter blues.
Fat Willy's has long been known as one of Chicago's most notable sources of barbeque, its only real competitor being Smoque BBQ. The restaurant's best items have been preparing for days, including ever-so-tender St. Louis and Baby Back ribs and brisket.
Vegans may want to seek nourishment elsewhere considering the carnivorous menu and décor: walls lined with diagrams of pigs according to the cut of meat found in each body part.
Despite the mildly disturbing images scattered about, the place is often at seating capacity with customers stopping by for a meal before heading to the Regal Cinemas conveniently located just across the street.
