October celebrates more then just colorful leaves and costumes. It's also a month dedicated to awareness of certain issues.
At DePaul, the Department of Residential Education, Housing Services and Student Centers sponsored an Alcohol Awareness campaign, which ran the entire month.
A photo contest was one of the events to promote alcohol awareness had individual and group entry options.
Individuals or groups were asked to submit a picture of them having fun on-campus or in Chicago with alcohol to demonstrate the many options on-campus and in Chicago to have fun without being under the influence.
This year Alcohol Awareness on campus made a huge comeback and success on DePaul's campus, according to the campaign coordinator Christy Shipyor.
