When you talk about moombahton, the Dutch house-inspired 110bpm-ish subgenre of EDM, a few artists and a few tracks come to mind. One undeniable moombahton anthem is "Pendejas" by producers Tittsworth and Alvin Risk. And in honor of Tittsworth coming to the Logan Square Auditorium next Friday, May 18, we're featuring another track by the DC-native.
The track "La Campana" is another collaboration with fellow moombahtoner Alvin Risk but also features vocals by Maluca, the Dominican New Yorker who recently worked with big-namers Diplo and Dillon Francis on the moombah track 'Que Que." Even though Tittsworth and Risk aren't at the same fame level as Diplo and Francis, their "La Campana" more than keeps up in terms of quality.
The electro elements make this song big time club-worthy while still keeping a tight grip on the booty-shaking roots and beat bumps of moombah. You can't miss the chance to catch Tittsworth spin this (and, of course, the already legendary "Pendejas") live next Friday alongside other moombahton players Bro Safari, Sazon Booya and local duo Team Bayside High when React Presents and Bass Kitchen bring them out for the Bros Gone Wild tour.
