Hi! My name is Max Kleiner. I am a Sophomore and I am the Graphics Editor.
I wanted to be the Graphics Editor because I know that reading is kind of difficult for some, and looking at pretty pictures makes learning things a lot easier. I just wanted to make everyone’s lives just a little bit simpler.
When I’m not in school or working on the paper, my hobbies include doodling, pretending to be intelligent by reading Dostoevsky in public places, listening to music, playing piano, watching movies, and wasting my life away on Netflix.
On a Saturday night you’ll find me perpetrating tomfoolery with my closest friends.
My favorite thing about DePaul is how diverse, open, and accepting everyone is. There has never been a moment where I’ve felt limited in the people I can talk to, it feels like I could just sit at any random table in the Quad and make friends with whomever.
The best class I’ve taken so far is The Films of Alfred Hitchcock because we watched excellent movies on a daily basis, the prof was phenomenal, and I got to pretend to be a movie snob.
I love eating cereal while I’m doing literally anything. There's no activity that cannot be paired well with a bowl of cereal.
I’m secretly obsessed with Alice in Wonderland, Ravenclaw House, and Marshmallow Fluff.
You can’t take me away from my HBOGO and Netflix accounts.
This summer I’ve been making money as an intern in the art department of a marketing company called Graphic Resource Group. And I've been playing boatloads of Euchre.
I can’t wait for the school year to begin because the Northwest Suburbs of Detroit really aren’t that fantastic compared to Chicago. Let alone any other place.
