Enough with the Pudge: Yesterday's Tomorrow

College is a place full of new, fun and exciting things. A new, fresh place to grow into the person you are destined to become. New friends that become your second family to laugh and cry with while taking on this new life.

However, the new fifteen pounds adding a soft, unwanted, layer to our once, unappreciated, fit bodies, is not so fun and exciting.

Living a healthy lifestyle in college is very difficult, yet extremely important. Not just so we look good in our mini skirts, yoga pants, and tank tops, but for the overall health of our bodies and our lives.

I am not just talking about the consequences of binge drinking and the dangerous, yet delicious, late night and hangover meals. I am also talking about knowing how to manage time and get enough sleep, health and exercise, and dealing with all of the stresses that come along with being a college student.

So, for all of you who are tired of "untagging" Facebook pictures because you look "OMG, so fat," step away from the chips, turn off the T.V., and get your body moving, because yesterday's tomorrow is TODAY.
