Their 10 point win ( 86-76) over the unranked Chippewas proved to be a challenge, but one that Coach Doug Bruno had been expecting. DePaul senior guard Deirdre Naughton hit the 1,000 point mark of her DePaul career right around three minutes into the game as she led her Blue Demons to a 77-65 win over North Dakota State at McGrath Arena on Sunday. DePaul improved to 3-0 after defeating the visiting Cornell 89-50 in the first round of the Maggie Dixon Classic. DePaul junior forward Felicia Chester scored the first points of the game, giving DePaul a 2-0 lead; they kept that lead for the rest of the game. While people searched for heat on Friday, Sam Quigley found hers on the hard court and led the Blue Demons with 21 points in Friday's win over the UIC Flames, 67-56. Quigley hit four three-pointers, and led the team with four assists. NASHVILLE, Tenn. - For the second straight game, Vanderbilt junior A.J. Ogilvy's free throw shooting was near perfect, as he scored 13 of his game-high 19 points from the line in a 67-54 victory over DePaul on Saturday. Different day, different score, same result. The DePaul men's soccer team traveled to Louisville, KY on Saturday and faced No. 5 Louisville in the quarterfinals of the Big East Championship.
