Hi! My name is Lynsey Hart. I am a senior and I am the Nation & World Editor.
I wanted to be the Nation & World Editor because I am very interested in international affairs and believe that the DePaulia has a great opportunity and responsibility to explain difficult situations to students.
When I’m not in school or working on the paper, my hobbies include crafting, cooking, and snowboarding in the winter.
On a Saturday night you’ll find me exploring the city with my friends.
My favorite thing about DePaul is that I can experience the closeness of a college community and the vast opportunity and diversity of Chicago, at the same time.
It is so hard to pinpoint the “best” class that I’ve taken. There have been many professors and classes that I have taken within my fields of study that have challenged me and made me grow. So, I’ll stay away from all of those and say that one of my favorite classes so far has been animation for non-majors because it was so different from everything else I have taken and I felt that I really took advantage of being at a school with a great CDM program.
I love eating picnic foods while playing games down by the lake.
I’m secretly obsessed with Taekwondo and the Iditarod.
You can’t take me away from my laptop or my moleskin.
This summer I’ve been interning at Milwaukee Magazine and living in Wisconsin.
I can’t wait for the school year to begin because I can’t wait to get back to the city, my friends and (surprisingly) school.
